Narrative
Here’s the situation. Uncle Ralph
has volunteered to take his little niece/nephew Madison to the zoo. His sister
has warned him. “Madison can be quite a little terror.”
“Don’t worry,” Uncle
Ralph replied. “I won’t have any trouble handling him/her.”
The assignment:
Step one--Plan your story.
Possible scenario: The drive to the zoo
Three or four incidents at the zoo
The return home from the zoo
Step two--Write a rough draft of your portion of the story.
Step three--Share your rough draft with your teammates. Seek input on
content.
Did your story make sense to your readers? Step
four--Write a second draft of your story.
Step four--Proofreading, editing work.
Get the details right!
Step five--Final copy—decide on a font and type size (14 is largest)
